So what margin of public favor justifies the theft in your mind? 70%? 85%? 95%? Does that logic work with everything or just the space program? If 99.999% of people favored nationalizing the clothing industry, would it make it alright to steal from the remainder? Seems a little utilitarian for a conservative to me. And industry vs any industry is apples and oranges. But the laws of economics don't fall apart, contrary to what you might believe, at the feet of space travel. I'm sure at one point sailing across the sea might have seemed like a feature that only governments were capable of orchestrating. But obviously that's not the case. And once again, if no one is throwing their money at it voluntarily, that should tell you something. You still never addressed this issue.
