Apparently some in the media believe that Tea Partiers and other conservatives think that letting die a healthy,30-yr. old man, who decides not to buy insurance, then lapses into a coma, is laughable. I guess the media is just aghast at the idea that Mr. X rolled the dice, crapped out, and John Q. Citizen doesn't want to pay for it. The question was directed at Ron Paul, and he said that he wouldn't just let the man die. The audience reaction was obviously directed at the idea that Mr. X gets to cruise through life with no insurance payments, then lets everyone else foot the bill when his health fails. You can imagine the size of the bill when the usual suspects get on that gravy train. Typical liberal no-brainer. |
