Dr. Robert R. Redfield is the Director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. He has been a public health leader actively engaged in clinical research and clinical care of chronic human viral infections and infectious diseases, especially HIV, for more than 30 years. He served as the founding director of the Department of Retroviral Research within the U.S. Military’s HIV Research Program, and retired after 20 years of service in the U.S. Army Medical Corps. A third-generation Michigander, Bouchard’s story is forged in Michigan’s backbone of service. His father, Oakland County Sheriff Mike Bouchard, has spent more than 38 years protecting families across Southeast Michigan. After serving in the army during World War II, his grandfather worked for 33 years at General Motors, part of the generation that built America’s “Arsenal of Democracy” and powered Michigan’s middle class, retiring from a facility located in Warren, Michigan. A graduate of Michigan State University’s ROTC program, Bouchard served in both the 82nd and 101st Airborne Divisions, including missions to the Southern Border and Iraq. He previously served as Chief Operations Officer for a 1,200-soldier infantry battalion in the Michigan Army National Guard, and most recently as a member of a joint task force in the global fight against ISIS, earning the Bronze Star for his leadership.

Richard Ivan Mack is an American politician who served as the sheriff of Graham County, Arizona from 1988 to 1996. A former lobbyist for Gun Owners of America, he is known for his role in a successful lawsuit which alleged that portions of the Brady Handgun Violence Prevention Act violated the United States Constitution. Mack is also the founder of Constitutional Sheriffs and Peace Officers Association and sits on the board of directors of the Oath Keepers.

Wayne Barnes is a former counterintelligence special agent for the FBI. He worked KGB espionage, ran double agents, recruited hostile intelligence officers, and found his niche debriefing Cold War defectors. He is now a licensed private investigator, a signature expert, and he also recovers stolen impressionist paintings—the “Dirty Harry” for billionaires. He is a graduate of Penn State and Villanova Law. He was the Security Officer in the field office where he created the Personnel Security Interview. Payton McNabb is an Independent Women ambassador. McNabb is a former North Carolina high school volleyball player (and three sport athlete) who was severely injured by a male on the women’s volleyball court. She has joined Independent Women to share her personal experience of competing against a biological male athlete, how her life forever changed following an injury during the game, and her desire to speak out to keep women’s sports female. McNabb testified before the North Carolina General Assembly in April 2023, alongside Independent Women Spokeswoman and 12x All-American swimmer Riley Gaines, to advocate for the passage of a Fairness in Women’s Sports Bill.

Bradley J. Birzer is an American historian. He is a history professor and the Russell Amos Kirk Chair in American Studies at Hillsdale College, the author of five books and the co-founder of The Imaginative Conservative. He is known also as a Tolkien scholar. Birzer is the author of several books. His first book, J.R.R. Tolkien's Sanctifying Myth, was about Roman Catholicism in J. R. R. Tolkien's novels. It examines Tolkien's views on myth and subcreation, the theological cosmology of Middle-earth, and his approaches to heroism, the nature of evil, and modernity. Birzer makes a remarkable contribution to the Jackson historiography that effectively tackles Old Hickory’s political disposition in a concise single volume. Whether one enters into its pages admiring or loathing Jackson, Birzer’s book is a must-read.

Don Palmer serves as a Senior Legal Fellow for Election Integrity with the Heritage Foundation Institute for Constitutional Government. Palmer first joined Heritage in May 2026. Before joining the Heritage Foundation, Palmer served as a Commissioner and Chairman on the United States Election Assistance Commission (EAC) after being nominated by President Trump and confirmed by unanimous consent of the Senate in 2019. He twice served as Chairman of the EAC and during his tenure the agency adopted enhanced security and accuracy standards in new voting machines. He advanced increased penetration testing of current voting systems and started a new program for the evaluation and testing of other election technology used in the states. Palmer served as a senior election official in two states, as the Director of Elections in Florida and later as the Commonwealth of Virginia’s Chief Election Official as Secretary of the Virginia State Board of Elections. He was a national leader in developing ways to improve interoperability and share voter registration data between states to increase the accuracy of the official voter rolls. He also modernized the Florida voting process by implementing a voting system of tabulating paper ballots and removing electronic machines.
