Politician

Eric learned early what hard work means. His parents’ grit and sacrifice taught him perseverance. And from his grandfather, a decorated World War II veteran, Eric learned that service is bigger than self.

After graduating from Elder High School, he answered the call to serve—attending the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado and serving as an intelligence officer overseas. His deployments included two years in Okinawa, Japan, and several years in Washington, D.C.

In the Air Force, Eric rose to the rank of Captain, leading intelligence operations for elite Special Operations forces and shaping long-term strategic planning across multiple commands.

After the Air Force, Eric joined the Central Intelligence Agency. In the CIA’s Directorate of Operations, he served as a Case Officer — the Agency’s most prestigious role — managing clandestine operations in war zones and across Europe. His multi-year postings included Afghanistan, Poland, and Iraq.
