His primary focus has been on FHA/HUD, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Bridge and floating rate debt. Throughout his career he have directly originated the financing for over $1,000,000,000 of commercial real estate loans for multifamily and senior housing/healthcare properties throughout the country with an emphasis in loans insured by FHA/HUD and have been involved in the origination, underwriting, funding and or asset management of over $4,000,000,000+ of commercial real estate loans.
In April 2025, He accepted a Presidential Appointment to oversee HUDs Office of Housing and the Federal Housing (FHA) Administration. Nominated by President Donald J. Trump to be Assistant Secretary of Housing and Federal Housing (FHA) Commissioner, August 2025, confirmed by the US Senate in December with bipartisan support.
