Giancarlo Sopo is a communication strategist and public affairs professional. Sopo has over a decade of experience helping brands and leaders take on public relations challenges. Giancarlo Sopo's commentary on current affairs have been featured in leading global publications, such as The New York Times, EFE, CNN, Univision, Telemundo, The Miami Herald, AP, and NBCNews.com to name a few.

Sopo's experience includes serving as the head of marketing for Benenson Strategy Group in Manhattan, a Harvard University teaching fellow on leadership and presidential politics, and a director of communications on Capitol Hill. In 2011, Giancarlo Sopo was named among the country's top young Latinos by CNN en Español. Sopo was a member of the DNC's 2008 National Platform Committee.

Giancarlo Sopo is also a cofounder and chair of CubaOne Foundation, a leading nonprofit that helps young Cuban-Americans connect with their peers, heritage, and family in Cuba.
