Greg Myhre was sworn in as Assemblyman in January 2024.

He is the regulatory compliance officer for the Toms River Municipal Utilities Authority. He was most recently the business administrator for Plumsted Township and operations manager for a computer network integration firm.

Previously, he was mayor of Stafford Township from 2019 to 2024. He also served on the township planning board, the Ocean County Natural Lands Trust Fund Advisory Committee, Pinelands Municipal Council and New Jersey League of Municipalities Resolution Committee.

He earned his bachelor’s in geography at the University of Maryland, and a graduate certificate in geospatial intelligence from Penn State.

Myhre lives with his wife Amber and their three children-Gunnar, Annika and Aksel-in Manahawkin.
