Jeremy Portnoy is an investigative journalist with OpenTheBooks.com.

He is the author of the nationally syndicated "Waste of the Day" column at RealClearPolitics, which has been cited by Bloomberg, the New York Post, PBS, and several times on the floor of Congress.

He makes weekly TV appearances on CBS Austin, FOX45 Baltimore and Good Day Maine and is a featured guest on the Ed Dean Radio Show in Jacksonville.

Jeremy is a graduate of Stony Brook University, where he was editor-in-chief of the campus newspaper The Statesman. He’s also worked as a sports reporter covering the New York Giants for SB Nation.
