Desai brings a wealth of experience, having previously served as Deputy Communications Director for the 2024 Republican National Convention and Communications Director for the Republican Party of Iowa.

During his time at Dartmouth, Desai earned the prestigious James O. Freedman Presidential Research Scholarship, a programme that allows students to gain research experience by working with Dartmouth faculty. He is bilingual, fluent in both English and Gujarati, which is his native language too.

Desai also held the position of Deputy Battleground States and Pennsylvania Communications Director at the Republican National Committee. In this role, he played a crucial part in shaping messaging and narratives in key battleground states, including Pennsylvania, where Trump triumphed in the 2024 election.
