Troy Stang serves as the President and CEO of the GoWest Credit Union Association, the trade association representing nearly 300 not-for-profit, member-owned credit unions and their 18.4 million consumer members across Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon, Washington, and Wyoming. Under Troy’s leadership, GoWest nurtures an innovative public policy environment to ensure cooperative financial services remain a relevant choice in the marketplace.

Troy has led credit union trade associations for more than a decade. Prior to taking the reins, he served in President George W. Bush’s administration as senior staff to the U.S. Treasury Secretary. He has extensive hands-on financial institution experience in large and complex credit unions across the nation.
